Building the wings requires a large work area, so my original plan was to build them in my backyard.
Heavy spring rains made the backyard too wet and cold, so I took advantage of my wife being out of town for a week to use the family room instead.
My kids thought it was a great idea and helped to move the furniture out. I was able to finish the right wing framework and get everything cleaned up and the furniture moved back in before my wife returned the following week.
