Getting the crate off of the flat bed truck was easier than I anticipated.

The tow truck can cantilever and tilt the bed down to drop one end of the crate, and then drive out from under the other end of the crate.

We used a couple of rolling hydraulic car jacks to lift the first end of the crate off of the truck and on to the ground.

Needless to say the excitement was palpable when the crate arrived, and we got lots of strange looks from our neighbors.
